Working Student - Video Producer

• You are pursuing an HBO/WO Bachelor or Master with an interest in marketing and communication

• You are available for at least 16 hours per week during office hours (Monday to Friday).

• Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop is required, but this does not need to be extremely extensive;

• You have some experience with the entire video recording process, such as camera, lighting, and sound

Conceive, shoot, and edit all our videos, from internal footage to television commercials

Visuals are a beautiful way to offer information to our customers. And if you love making videos, how fun would it be if you could combine that? As a Junior Video Producer, you will help with making videos in all the formats we have developed. Think of social videos, commercials, and device reviews.

As a Working Student - Video Producer at Belsimpel, you are involved in the entire production process from start to finish. You contribute ideas for concepts and storyboards, arrange the schedule for shooting days, and ensure that presenters, products, lighting, and settings are perfectly ready for recording. Subsequently, you film the footage yourself for device reviews, social videos, and other content. After that, you dive into Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the footage into a strong final product. With a bit of luck, your video will be online the very same day!

You create content for our website, social media channels, and internal purposes. These are media where your videos achieve a large reach, not only in the Netherlands, but throughout Europe. Your freshly edited video about the latest iPhone will certainly be viewed by thousands of people on social media. You work with a range of video content such as promotional videos for recruitment purposes, explainer videos, product reviews, and aftermovies of our internal parties. Additionally, you also collaborate on motion design for Meta Ads and other social advertising content. We also offer you the chance to grow in photography by, for example, shooting images for campaigns and internal communication.

Together with your team, you film in various departments, at outdoor locations, or in our own film studio. In any case, we love doing everything ourselves. Have you seen our commercials yet? These were made by our Video Producers in our own film studio or at external locations; not crazy, right?

In addition to the work behind the scenes, we are looking for someone who gets energy from visibility. You have a passion for social media, follow the latest trends closely, and enjoy creating and presenting content. Whether it concerns videos, livestreams, events, or online campaigns: you don't just stand behind the camera, but also enjoy being in front of it and know how to convey a message in an enthusiastic and authentic way.

The Working Student - Video Producer position can be a fantastic springboard for an extensive video career. You will learn to plan, develop new concepts, and work together with colleagues who have been professionals in their field for years and can provide you with valuable feedback.
