Video Intern [Tonny Media]

At Tonny Media, we are looking for a production intern to come and strengthen our team.

DISCLAIMER: we work with two fixed internship periods of six months (from February to July and from August to January). Regardless of the internship periods, you are of course always welcome to apply, especially if you are truly an 11/10! Just know that we will probably not review your application until the start of the next internship period.

We are Tonny Media, the most exciting (media) company in the Netherlands. You know us from Geuze & Gorgels, Kibbeling, Drie Kwartjes, de Zelfspodcast, and about twenty other productions. But it is also possible that you don't know us. In that case, it is quite peculiar that you are reading this vacancy now.

You know us from the top 10 in the podcast hit charts, our video productions, TV programs, advertising campaigns, and fantastic social media content. We do all of that ourselves from start to finish. From (video) design, to jingles, to creative campaigns and scripts: everything comes from our own hands. Recently, we have grown quickly and have learned a lot. That is why, precisely now, we are trying to attract talented people to us. Long story short: we are looking for video interns to strengthen our editing team!

You dive into the studio with the podcast makers (yes, also with Wiwa and Vjeze, and yes, unfortunately also with Sander and Jaap) and editors, where you record all the podcast episodes to subsequently edit them into content that makes hundreds of thousands of people laugh. As the icing on the proverbial cake, you will also be responsible for viral clips on our socials! You are responsible for the overall support of our audio and video productions, from recording to going live.

• Someone who understands what a good edit consists of

• Someone who listens to a lot of podcasts, but thinks the editing is often bad

• Someone who knows how to go viral

• Someone who gets excited by the terms: J-cut, Softbox, shallow depth of field, speedbooster, and rigging

• Someone who might have heard of the above terms, but doesn't necessarily get excited by them

• Someone who can quickly make something creative from a vague idea

• Someone who recognizes funny moments in a podcast and makes the coolest content out of them

• Someone who lives in the Adobe Creative Cloud

• Someone who wants to learn how to make a good and creative production in a team setting

• A dynamic and educational internship of 5-6 months

• Working on a daily basis with celebrities, but especially with "CN'ers" (content creators)

• A (work)place in the center of Amsterdam to escape your boyfriend/girlfriend

• A learning environment in which you can learn all the tricks of the trade

• A good internship allowance
