The role
What you'll do
Within Ballast Nedam Large Infra, you will work from our project locations in Gorinchem, Keizersveer, and Groote Haar on the A27 Everdingen-Hooipolder project. You will be part of the project team and support the work preparers with regular civil engineering work preparation, with a clear focus on the preparation of major road closures.
At the end of this year, we have several major closures on the A27. It is precisely these moments that demand tight planning and thorough technical preparation. Together with experienced work preparers, you will take on this challenge. You will learn how projects are prepared both substantively and organizationally. You will write plans, calculate quantities, and work on schedules and visual step-by-step plans. You will gain insight into the connection between design, planning, and execution, and through your work, you will contribute directly to the progress of the project. Naturally, you will see the results of your work firsthand and consult frequently with the site manager. This way, you will learn how a large-scale infrastructure project is prepared step by step and how your work contributes directly to smooth execution on the construction site.
