Are you ready for a role where you truly make a difference in renovation and transformation projects, or would you rather build something brand new? As a work preparer at Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Utrecht, you will be involved in our projects in Central Netherlands from the very first idea until completion. You ensure that everything is correct: technically, financially, and organizationally.
In this position, you will work closely with the project team, consisting of the project manager and site manager. You are the BIM specialist within the team: you ensure that all details in the model are correct and that the design aligns seamlessly with the execution. Additionally, you prepare procurement and, together with the project manager, monitor the financial progress of the project.
You assemble work packages and coordinate these with external advisors, subcontractors, and suppliers. You are the connecting link between all parties and translate their input into a coherent whole in BIM. In this way, you maintain control over your (sub)project and ensure a smoothly running process. Your technical expertise will also be highly valuable in our design and tender teams. Together, we ensure that we secure beautiful new projects and that you continue to grow in your profession.
As a person, you are energetic, customer- and result-oriented, and you have an eye for improvements and innovations.
Furthermore, you have:
A completed MBO or HBO education, for example in Civil Engineering, Built Environment, or a similar (construction) technical education.
4+ years of work experience as a work preparer (or a similar position).
You are strong in planning and organizing, but you also switch easily to ad-hoc tasks.
Experience with BIM programs such as Revit and Navisworks is a plus.
These requirements show the direction of the profile we are looking for in this position. Should you not recognize yourself in all the requirements, but you do think this is the position for you? Then we would love to have a conversation with you.
This is what we offer you
The salary for this position is between € 4,291 and € 6,256 gross per month (based on 40 hours) for a medior profile, and between € 5,639 and € 7,049 (based on 40 hours) for a senior profile, excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience.
On top of the salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to CAO Bouw & Infra).
43 leave days according to the Cao Bouw & Infra. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;
A laptop and a smartphone;
Excellent secondary employment conditions such as standard insurance for all employee risks, pension schemes, an extra supplement in case of disability, and a contribution towards trade union membership;
You have the choice between a mobility budget, NS Business Card, or an electric lease car;
With a contract for an indefinite period, you can choose a brand-new (electric) bicycle thanks to our partnership with lease-a-bike;
Much attention to your growth thanks to our own Dura Vermeer Academy with plenty of education and training opportunities within your field, but also, for example, in the area of vitality;

At Dura Vermeer, we prefer to recruit and select our candidates without the well-intentioned help of "subcontractors". Upon acquisition, we reserve the right to charge for additional work.
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can feel it. In how we work together, how we look out for one another, and how we build with an eye for future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, non-residential construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the foundation of this.
With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we belong to the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, for us, it is not about those figures. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of – iconic and close to home – and contributing to solutions for societal issues.
Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with engaged people. That is why we invest in good employer ship and a working environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and, together with us, make more
At Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Utrecht we work with about 100 colleagues on projects in Central Netherlands. From our office in Utrecht Leidsche Rijn and from construction sites, we realize area and real estate development, residential construction, non-residential construction, renovation, and transformation — from new construction to the improvement and renewal of existing real estate. We love to get stuck in: development, preparation, and execution work closely together, with short lines of communication and a practical approach. No complicated fuss, but making plans and actually delivering them, with an eye for quality, sustainability, and projects we can be proud of.
