As Design Lead Hydraulic Engineering, you are responsible for the technical management of multidisciplinary design teams.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Monitoring the technical quality of designs.

  • Coordinating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

  • Making design choices and risk assessments.

  • Contributing to tenders and new project opportunities.

  • Further developing technical knowledge within the team.

In doing so, you remain substantively involved yourself. At SBE, a design lead does not sit on the sidelines, but actively participates in finding smart and technically high-quality solutions.
