Senior Postgres Designer

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience;

• Demonstrable experience with Postgres DB design;

• Microsoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management experience.

• Automation experience, particularly Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS);

• Private cloud management, particularly migration from on-prem to cloud.

• Vulnerability management;

• On-prem AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services) with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and/or Azure AD.

Who You Are

As a Senior Designer, you will work in a challenging environment where you develop complex architectures and frameworks. You translate functional requirements into functional and technical designs, prepare documentation, and translate implementation provisions into concrete measures. You participate in impact analyses and projects and act as the output owner for complex assignments.

You verify the applicability of technical designs by verifying impact analyses, performing risk analyses, and ensuring that solutions comply with safety standards. You advise the Technical Lead and prepare the implementation of ICT components, ensuring acceptance and testing against established standards.

You develop and adapt components within ICT architectures and infrastructures, prepare test scenarios, and execute them. You monitor the coherence between building blocks and act as the final link in third-line support problems. You analyze disruptions, advise on modifications, and implement automated changes to ICT building blocks.

Additionally, you contribute to research in the field of ICT building blocks, optimize existing components, and provide guidelines and advice. You guide and coach designers in their professional field, thereby contributing to the growth and development of the team.

You are expected to be present in Den Helder 2 days per week (Monday and Thursday). The rest of the week offers the possibility to work from home.
