Interim - Test Analyst for Zwitserleven pension landscape

For the Zwitserleven application landscape, we are looking for an experienced Tester / Test Analyst who is responsible for preparing, executing, and documenting end-to-end tests, functional tests, and regression tests within a complex IT landscape. The focus lies on ensuring the quality of changes and verifying the correct functioning of interfaces and data exchange between applications.

The application landscape consists of, among others, the following components:

• Participant and Employer portals

• Backoffice systems Vactas and Lifetime

• Datahub Contract and Person

• Output, document generation, and archive solutions

• API Management platform for communication between internal applications and external systems

Within this landscape, continuous changes take place where existing ESB connections are being replaced by API-driven integrations. Additionally, functional changes are regularly implemented in Vactas and other core systems that can have an impact on the connected applications and portals.

We are Athora Netherlands, an insurance company with the well-known brands Zwitserleven and Reaal. We primarily deal with pensions and life insurance on the Dutch market. We do this as part of a European group with branches in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, and Italy. The Tester / Test Analyst is responsible for:

• Drafting and maintaining test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.

• Executing functional tests, system tests, end-to-end tests, and regression tests.

• Validating the functioning of newly implemented API connections to replace existing ESB services.

• Verifying correct data exchange between the various applications within the chain.

• Checking the impact of changes in Vactas on the participant and employer portals.

• Analyzing, registering, and following up on findings and defects.

• Coordinating with business analysts, developers, product owners, and administrators regarding test results and risks.

• Supporting acceptance testing and release advice towards production.

We are looking for a professional with:

• Demonstrable experience as a Tester or Test Analyst within complex application landscapes.

• Experience with end-to-end testing and integration testing.

• Knowledge of API testing and message traffic between systems.

• Experience with regression testing and impact analyses.

• Experience with testing in the pension sector.

• Strong analytical skills and an eye for quality. Experience within financial services or the pension domain is a plus.

• Knowledge of systems such as Vactas, Lifetime, portal solutions, and API platforms is a plus.

The assignment is successfully completed when the quality of changes is demonstrably ensured, chains function correctly, new API integrations work stably, and any regression effects are identified and resolved in a timely manner before changes are moved to production.
