Azure Data Platform Engineer

• Fluent command of the Dutch language

• Demonstrable experience with Azure cloud services and data engineering

• Knowledge of tools such as Databricks, Azure DevOps, and Terraform

• Experience with building and managing web services

Salary:

Based on scale 15 or scale 16 HAY (depending on knowledge and experience), the range is € 4,335.55 to € 6,776.03 based on 36 hours.

At Athora/Swiss Life, we are building a robust, scalable, and future-proof Microsoft Azure Data Platform. This platform enables our organization to operate faster, smarter, and more data-driven. We are looking for a hands-on engineer to help further develop and optimize the platform.

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will work at the core of our data landscape. You will:

• Design, build, and manage our Microsoft Azure Data Platform

• Develop scalable data pipelines with Databricks

• Ensure a well-configured and managed Power BI environment

• Contribute to data governance, including security, monitoring, and compliance

• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders

• Automate deployments via CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)

And in addition, you will be given all the space for training and certifications to keep or improve the necessary knowledge up to date.
