Role description:
As a Medior Systems Integration Engineer, you will work on medium and large-scale infrastructural projects in which complex systems are made manageable through the application of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), systems integration, and information management. You create structure, connection, and overview, so that multidisciplinary teams can collaborate effectively and systems are successfully integrated throughout all lifecycle phases of a project.

You are the connecting link between engineering, contract management, clients, and other stakeholders. In doing so, you combine technical knowledge with project-based skills and contribute to projects within sectors including rail, public transport, energy, and infrastructure. You support the further development of systems integration within the organization and contribute to the successful realization of socially relevant infrastructural projects.

Role responsibilities:
As a Medior Systems Integration Engineer, you support complex projects in making systems manageable and integrating them throughout the entire lifecycle. You translate client needs into technical requirements, guide requirements management processes, and ensure that multidisciplinary designs align well with one another. Additionally, you perform analyses on systems and concepts, monitor verification and validation activities, and draw up test and integration plans to realize successful systems integration.

You support senior Systems Integration Consultants on client assignments in the field of systems integration and information management and contribute to tender and quotation processes. You also work on the further development and application of Systems Thinking and Integration Management within the organization. Additionally, you are involved in the preparation, execution, and reporting of integration tests and pilot operations, and you contribute to knowledge sharing and collaboration within multidisciplinary project teams.

Qualifications & Experience:
You are a connecting professional with several years of experience in Systems Engineering or systems integration. You feel at home in a technical, multidisciplinary environment and get energy from working on complex infrastructure projects. Additionally, you are eager to learn, possess strong communication skills, and are motivated to further develop yourself within the field.
