With your knowledge of electrical engineering and low and medium voltage, you will contribute directly to the energy transition and the reinforcement of the electricity grid.
As a lead engineer, you will work on projects regarding the reinforcement of the electricity grid and the energy transition. With your specialization in low and medium voltage, you will focus on the installation of cables and pipelines and the construction of medium voltage rooms (MSRs). What makes this role special is that you are responsible for the entire process: from design to delivery. In the design phase, you prepare technical specifications, designs, drawings, and schedules (VO, DO, and UO). During the execution phase, you coordinate and supervise the installation work. Afterwards, you commission installations and perform voltage and continuity tests. Naturally, you maintain an eye for reliability, safety, and efficiency. You ensure that all projects comply with applicable standards and safety regulations and perform risk analyses and safety inspections.
Applying your expertise to engaging projects regarding the energy transition and grid reinforcement;
Collaborating intensively with project managers, fellow engineers, advisors, contractors, and other stakeholders;
Being responsible, alongside your colleagues, for the VO, DO, and UO of cable routes;
Advising customers on technical aspects of cable and pipeline installation and the construction of medium voltage rooms;
Proposing solutions and designs that others had not yet thought of;
Resolving bottlenecks and unforeseen matters.
At Antea Group, you work in flexible, multidisciplinary teams. In these teams, you work together with route engineers, specialists in the field of environmental research, and GIS experts, among others. You will join an open and collegial working environment in which your ideas are valued. Additionally, you will regularly have contact with customers and other stakeholders. This requires someone who is technically strong and possesses good communication skills.
