Data Analyst

Can you, as our new Data Analyst, make it possible to combine and visualize data from various sources in such a way that it can be used to make better operational and strategic decisions? Then read on quickly!

The core of your work lies primarily in making data insightful by translating it to the business in a visual and understandable manner, presenting it in clear dashboards, and helping to interpret it.

In this position, you are in close contact with our legal and support departments. You will coordinate with the department managers and the board to determine the needs of the business, and also look at the possibilities in the field of data. In collaboration with various internal specialists and your colleagues within the Clients & Markets department, you will build data models, reports, or dashboards. In this way, you provide insights to the business and the board to enable better management.

Your responsibility encompasses the entire data chain: You operationalize (new) data products and prototypes into stable and user-friendly solutions. You then also assist the business in the interpretation of the results.

• Together with the department managers, you will coordinate where their questions lie regarding data, information, and helping to formulate KPIs;

• You will work on a better understanding and interpretation of data using data visualization;

• You will help the business interpret the results and make concrete recommendations to improve the results;

• Developing prototypes/ideas into production-ready dashboards, datasets, and data models;

• Building and maintaining Power BI reports (incl. connecting various sources, data modeling, DAX, visualization, performance, RLS);

• Unlocking and combining data from source systems via the data warehouse (SQL, basic knowledge of APIs);

• Managing the existing reporting proposition: solving incidents, implementing changes, coordinating releases;

• Answering ad-hoc data questions from legal and support;

• Identifying opportunities for improvement (substantive/technical) and making proposals.

·         HBO/WO working and thinking level (e.g., a degree in the direction of Data/BI, (Business) Informatics, Analytics, Business IT);

·         Experience with reporting and performing analyses is a plus;

·         Experience with data modeling;

·         Strong in creating insight and in interpreting data and creating visualizations;

·         Knowledge of SQL;

·         You speak fluent Dutch and English.
