Projectmanager BESS + Microgrids

As a Project Manager at Zwart Techniek, you are responsible for the successful realization of projects in the field of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and Microgrids. You combine technical insight with strong project management and ensure that everything comes together: from planning and budget to execution and a satisfied customer.

As a Project Manager BESS & Microgrids, you are responsible for the full execution of multiple projects, primarily within the Benelux. You form the connecting link between the customer, suppliers, subcontractors, and our internal departments. You maintain an overview, adjust where necessary, and ensure that projects are realized safely, according to schedule, and within the agreed budget.

From technical preparation through to delivery, you are closely involved in your projects. You translate the customer's wishes into concrete technical solutions and clear work orders for, among others, Engineering, Procurement, and the Workshop. In doing so, you monitor progress, signal risks, and ensure that all parties involved know what is expected of them.

You have control over your projects and take responsibility for the result. You know how to bring technical, organizational, and commercial interests together and maintain an overview even under pressure.

• Leading and coordinating multiple technical projects, from preparation to delivery.

• Drafting, monitoring, and adjusting project schedules, budgets, and milestones.

• Maintaining contact with customers and managing internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.

• Requesting and evaluating quotes and coordinating the procurement of materials and services.

• Translating technical customer wishes into actionable plans, work orders, and solutions.

• Signaling risks, deviations, and bottlenecks and taking appropriate measures in a timely manner.

• Monitoring quality, safety, progress, and financial results.

• Preparing and supervising technical execution, including testing procedures and delivery to the customer.

• Providing project reports and coordinating financial progress with the Project Controller.

• Monitoring safety and execution plans and stimulating safe working at project locations.

You are an experienced project manager who is used to bearing independent responsibility for complex, multidisciplinary technical projects. You switch easily between technology, planning, finance, and customer contact and know how to engage people in your approach. You take initiative, dare to make decisions, and think in solutions.

In addition, you possess:

• A completed HBO/WO degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or a similar field.

• 5 to 10 years of work experience, of which at least 5 years is relevant experience in project management within a technical environment.

• Demonstrable experience as a project manager, where you have been responsible for the progress, execution, and financial results of projects.

• Experience with multidisciplinary projects and managing various internal and external parties.

• A good command of both the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

• Strong organizational and communicative skills and the ability to set priorities.

• A result-oriented attitude, technical insight, and a sharp eye for quality, safety, and budget.

• Experience with project planning and budget monitoring, preferably with MS Project.

Do you also have experience with BESS projects (Battery Energy Storage Systems) and Microgrids? Then you have a significant advantage. You understand the challenges of modern energy solutions and can use your project management experience to successfully realize these projects.
