Allround Technician

As an Allround Assembler at Zwart Techniek, you ensure that our products (emergency power units) are completely ready to be delivered to the customer. Every day you work with various components and ensure that everything is assembled and connected safely and according to specifications.

You start by collecting all the parts you need, such as the generator, radiators, air vents, fans, fuel tanks, control panels, and cables. After that, you check if everything is complete before you begin assembly.

• You mount the generator in the correct position in the unit using your drawings and manuals.

• You place air and fuel filters for the engine and generator. In doing so, you connect pipes and place the filters in the correct locations according to the drawing.

• You mount pipes to properly dissipate heat from the unit.

• You connect power and signal cables to the generator and check whether the connections are secure.

• You place lighting in the unit so that safe working is possible.

• You install and connect control panels, which allow you to operate the emergency power system.

• You place and connect sensors that measure, for example, temperature, fuel levels, and vibrations.

• You use technical drawings and manuals to ensure that all components are properly connected and function according to the instructions.

As an Allround Assembler at Zwart Techniek, you work independently and precisely and can also work in a team. You are handy and have a practical mindset.

• MBO level 3 or 4 in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar education.

• A number of years of experience as an Allround Assembler, preferably in equipment manufacturing or machine manufacturing.

• You are strong in mechanical assembly and love tinkering: You can assemble and put together parts according to instructions.

• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering to work safely with electrical components. We can teach you the rest.

• You can work according to technical drawings and you ensure that everything is properly connected.

• Some experience with welding is a plus.

• You are proactive and are quickly able to solve problems that arise.
