Manager Electrical Engineering

You operate within a project or matrix organization and switch between operational management and tactical thinking regarding the direction of the department.

• Managing, coaching, and developing Electrical Engineers.

• Monitoring capacity, planning, and priorities within projects.

• Ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with standards and guidelines.

• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in processes and collaboration.

• Coordinating with project management, commissioning, and operations.

• Contributing to the standardization and improvement of engineering methods.

• Conducting performance reviews and development discussions.

• Reporting on progress and performance to management.

You are technically proficient, but your strength lies in leadership.

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level, degree in Electrical Engineering.

• More than 5 years of demonstrable experience in a leadership or coordinating role within a technical environment.

• Insight into electrotechnical systems and engineering processes.

• Experience within a project or matrix organization is a plus.

• Strong communication skills and organizational sensitivity.

• You work in a structured manner, think ahead, and maintain an overview.

• You take responsibility, dare to make decisions, and know how to get people moving.
