What we're looking for

HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of work and thinking;
a completed education in mechanical engineering;
relevant work experience and participation in professional training/courses;
knowledge of current regulations, standards, and developments in the field;
knowledge of MS Office and ERP software, but also of professional software such as StabiCAD, Revit, VAB.

What you'll do

We are looking for an independent technician who enjoys working on the design of technical installations for large and/or complex projects. As a project engineer W, you are part of a multidisciplinary project team. In this team, all technical disciplines are bundled. If team members have technical questions about a project, they know how to find you! You work closely with the project manager. For him, you are the first point of contact for all technical issues.

Your package of tasks consists of:

calculating and technically designing installations for large and/or complex projects;
checking and approving installation drawings and calculations;
requesting and evaluating quotes;
ensuring the possible technical elaboration of installation adjustments in the event of extra work or omissions and making additional price determinations together with the project manager;
participating in various forms of consultation and/or work meetings;
drawing up the engineering schedule in consultation with the project manager;
providing the project documentation, including models, drawings, diagrams, work plans, etc.;
supporting and advising the work preparer(s) and drafter / assistant work preparers in the calculation, drawing, and design of installation concepts;
drawing and/or modeling the first setup of the technical designs of the projects;
coordinating the BIM model with the BIM coordinator.
