Warehouse Manager

• a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in logistics management, supply chain management, or transport & logistics;
• at least 2 years of leadership experience within a logistics or operational environment;
• experience with KPI-driven working, process optimization, and preferably Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt;
• strong analytical skills, decisiveness, and the ability to think several steps ahead;
• excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English and the ambition to develop people.

Building a warehouse in which people, processes, and performance get better every day: you will contribute to this.

How will you do this? As warehouse manager, you will lead 4 to 6 team leaders and supervisors and will be indirectly responsible for approximately 70 colleagues. You will steer on safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction, using data to continuously improve. Together with your fellow warehouse manager and operations manager, you will ensure that the operation performs optimally every day. You will achieve this by:

• coaching, developing, and inspiring team leaders and supervisors so that they and their teams perform better every day;
• analyzing KPIs and operational data to identify and structurally implement opportunities for improvement;
• leading Lean and Continuous Improvement projects with which you make processes smarter, more efficient, and future-proof;
• making decisions that contribute to a safe, high-quality, and productive warehouse operation;
• collaborating with internal stakeholders and customers to continuously optimize service delivery.
