Shift Manager (all genders) in the Netherlands

• Demonstrable leadership experience in a production environment, preferably within a 5-shift system;
• A strong people manager who knows how to motivate, coach, and develop employees, even during periods of change;
• Experience within the food industry, with knowledge of quality, food safety, and hygiene requirements;
• Affinity with technology and production processes and the ability to manage these effectively and maintain an overview;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect teams and departments within the factory and the site in Lochem.

• Leading a team in a 5-shift service within a dynamic production environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuity of the production process;
• Responsible for the entire production process: from the supply of raw materials to the delivery of a high-quality end product, in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders;
• Motivating, coaching, and developing employees, whereby you stimulate ownership and involve people in improvements and changes;
• Drafting and realizing team annual plans; translating objectives into concrete actions and ensuring a well-trained, future-proof team;
• Creating and safeguarding a culture of continuous improvement by actively facilitating the team in identifying and implementing optimizations.

As a 5-shift Shift Manager in our butter factory in Lochem, you are at the heart of the operation. You provide daily leadership to your team, monitor the progress of the production process, and ensure a safe and stable working environment. At the same time, you are the connecting link: you coordinate smoothly with other departments within the factory and work intensively with colleagues from other disciplines at the site in Lochem. This way, you work together to ensure optimal results. You know how to motivate, develop, and involve people in improvements and changes.
