What we're looking for

You have at least an MBO-4 diploma in Electrical Engineering, preferably supplemented with MBV certification and basic knowledge of ICT networks.
You have experience with the maintenance and service of security systems (such as fire alarm, intrusion, camera, and access control systems), preferably supplemented with diplomas and/or certificates regarding standard knowledge (maintenance expert) and/or security product knowledge.
Experience and knowledge in the field of management and maintenance of security management software is a plus.
You are practical and solution-oriented, communicate clearly with customers and colleagues, and work accurately.

A good salary between €3,000 and €5,000 gross per month (based on a 40-hour work week), depending on your knowledge and experience.
Immediately a permanent contract for 32 to 40 hours per week.

The role

Do you ensure that our customers can always rely on well-functioning safety and security systems? Are you a true service professional who resolves malfunctions and keeps installations in top condition? Then we are looking for you! At VanderLinden, everything revolves around quality and reliability. As a Service Technician Safety & Security, you are responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of systems that contribute to a safe working environment. You are the point of contact for our customers in the utility sector and ensure that everything works as it should.

What you'll do

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Safety installations (fire alarm and evacuation systems) and Security installations (intrusion detection, intercom, access control, and camera systems and associated management software).
Analyze and resolve malfunctions so that systems are quickly operational again.
Testing and checking installations for correct operation, safety, and compliance with standards.
Prepare reports and advise customers on improvements or replacements.
Maintain customer contact and ensure professional and reliable service.
Participate in on-call services.
