Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a similar position

  • Knowledge of electrical engineering and experience working on electronic systems

  • In possession of VCA VOL and knowledge of NEN 3140, NEN 1010, and NEN-EN 50110

  • Driving license B

  • Flexible and stress-resistant, able to switch quickly between different tasks

  • Strong collaboration skills and a focus on safety, customer orientation, cost awareness, decisiveness, and accuracy

Nice to have

  • Experience in the traffic or infrastructure industry is a plus

Education & certifications

  • MBO level 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a comparable technical field

The role

As a mid-level Infrastructure Service Technician, you will work on maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing vital infrastructure such as bridges, locks, tunnels, and energy networks. You respond quickly to malfunctions and keep systems reliable 24/7. You collaborate with customers, colleagues, and external parties to resolve disruptions and implement improvements. In this way, you deliver a direct impact on the availability and safety of mobility systems in the Netherlands.

What you'll do

  • Maintaining and monitoring bridges, locks, tunnels, and energy networks

  • Optimizing the performance of vital infrastructure

  • Identifying and resolving technical malfunctions, also outside regular working hours

  • Performing preventive maintenance and upgrades

  • Responding to technical problems to ensure continuity

  • Registering and documenting activities and procedures

  • Collaborating with customers, colleagues, and external parties

  • Implementing improvements based on findings
