Financial Controller

• A one-year contract of 32-36 hours per week.
• A gross monthly salary between €3450,- and €5167,- per month  based on a 36-hour work week (scale 9/10). 
• 8% holiday allowance and a year-end bonus of 4%.

As Financial Controller, you are a crucial link in our growth ambition. You will get the chance to make a real impact by setting up Vesper in a scalable way from a Finance perspective and by carefully executing substantive tasks. A role in which your financial expertise and entrepreneurial spirit come together.

We started with Vesper as the first BSO+ in the Amsterdam region and have since expanded to South Holland. Vesper offers after-school care to children with a mild intellectual disability or developmental disorders such as autism and ADHD. Through our unique approach, we help children and their parents with the right care and support.

Under the leadership of an experienced management team with a background at companies such as HelloFresh, felyx, and Groei en Glunder, we are doing everything we can to scale up our services and help as many families as possible.

As Financial Controller at Vesper, you get a unique opportunity to help build the financial side of a fast-growing and meaningful organization. In this role, you will work closely with one of the founders and play a key role in optimizing our financial processes and operations.

Your package of tasks is diverse and offers you the chance to gain insight into the complete financial management of Vesper. From managing daily financial matters to delivering and setting up financial reports—you are involved in everything. Additionally, you are the financial sparring partner for management and help contribute to the strategic direction of Vesper.

You contribute directly to the professionalization of the finance department and have plenty of room to show initiative and implement improvements. While you refine current processes, you also work on the future of Vesper, where your advice and reports are of invaluable importance to our growth ambitions.
