Education & Experience: a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in a financial or business economics direction, and at least 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a trading organization
Skills: strong Excel skills, knowledge of BI, proficiency in automated systems such as Exact Globe Next, Sumatra, and Scansys is a plus.
Soft skills: strong communicator, proactive, pragmatic, open, and social.

The role

What will you be doing?

You play an important role in setting up/organizing and translating figures into actionable management information for management and colleagues. You combine a sharp eye for detail with a helicopter view, and contribute to the design and optimization of financial business processes. A ''Niet lullen maar poetsen'' (no nonsense, just get it done) and a direct ''no-nonsense'' working environment appeals to you. Tasks & responsibilities:

Budgeting & forecasting: Supporting in, preparing, monitoring, and analyzing actuals versus budget, forecast, and multi-year plans.
Financial reporting: Timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, (possibly tax returns).
Analysis & advice: Performing analyses (requested and unsolicited) and providing (requested and unsolicited) data turned into information for the business. Acting as a solid financial sparring partner/sounding board for various departments.
Process design/optimization: Contributing to the design and improvement of the financial systems and processes within the Finance department.
