What we're looking for

Work experience: you have 10-15 years of experience in a complex finance and reporting environment, of which at least 4 years in a leadership role. Ideally, you have gained work experience within a consulting firm, supplemented with in-house experience within a commercial company.
Education: you have a completed university degree (WO) in the field of finance or accounting, supplemented with RA or RC.
Language skills: you have a good command of the Dutch and English languages.
Expertise: you have in-depth knowledge of financial control and reporting and up-to-date knowledge of international reporting (IFRS).
ESG: knowledge of ESG & CSRD is a plus.
Analytical ability: you fathom complex issues and bring structure.
Leadership skills: you coach, inspire, and create ownership in teams and move strongly at the executive level.

The role

As manager financial control & consolidation, you ensure that our financial reporting is rock solid. You lead a team, guarantee quality, and translate complex regulations into clear and workable solutions.

What you'll do

Reporting & IFRS: you are responsible for reliable reporting and ensure the correct application of IFRS and accounting policies.
Leadership: you lead the financial control and consolidation team and build quality, ownership, and development.
Audit & compliance: you coordinate audits and guarantee compliance with laws and regulations and internal controls.
Stakeholders & optimization: you liaise with senior stakeholders and continuously improve processes, data, and governance.
