Requirements
What we're looking for
- A completed HBO or WO degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics
- At least several years of experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail
- The ability to maintain an overview and make connections (top-down insight)
- Experience with financial closings and reporting processes
- Good communication skills and the ability to make complex subject matter understandable
- Proactive attitude and a drive to continuously improve

What you'll get
- A gross monthly salary between € 6,079 and € 7,151 (depending on experience) and excellent secondary employment conditions, including:

The role
What you'll do
As a Senior Financial Controller, you take care of reliable, timely, and insightful financial reports. You play a key role in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and safeguard the quality and consistency of the figures.
You monitor the total overview of the financial chain and ensure that processes are designed to be tight, controlled, and future-oriented. In doing so, you work closely with the team leads of Purchase to Pay (P2P) and Order to Cash (O2C), giving you full visibility into what is happening within the end‑to‑end processes.
Additionally, you act as the primary point of contact for external accountants and coordinate complex accounting issues with Group Control. You know how to understand these issues substantively and translate them clearly into practical and workable solutions within the organization.
You provide a careful handover to Business Control, so they can build on robust figures and sharply formulated insights. At the same time, you are continuously looking ahead: you signal opportunities for improvement, initiate optimizations, and actively contribute to further professionalizing and future‑proofing financial processes.
