Veolia Industriediensten B.V. is an all-round technical service provider in the industrial sector, fully supporting its clients in the operation, maintenance, optimization and preservation of various complex industrial installations.

As a Service Technician, you carry broad responsibility for the management, monitoring, operation and maintenance of process installations, energy plants and wastewater processes at the locations below. You ensure that the installations perform optimally and that malfunctions are resolved quickly and professionally. In addition, you play an active role in the processing and administrative handling of (hazardous) waste arriving at the sites.

• Inspecting and maintaining equipment and installations; 
• Maintaining specific parts of process installations; 
• Taking samples for research in the laboratory;
• Assisting with emergencies occurring within and outside the KMC;
• Preparing the transport of hazardous waste to external processors; 
• Administrative tasks related to the registration of hazardous waste, water treatment, and the creation and follow-up of PO tasks.
• Carrying out maintenance tasks on the installations and the administrative processing in the Veolia CMMS program;
• First-line support to the client;
• Coordinating subcontractors and specialists;
• Resolving malfunctions.

In this combined role, you work day shifts, take part in an on-call duty, and divide your time according to a schedule between two dynamic project locations in North Holland, namely:

This centre treats process wastewater that has become contaminated by aircraft maintenance in workshops and hangars. It also serves as a collection point for the processing of hazardous waste. Thanks to good processes and well-maintained installations, the KMC ensures that heavy metals are filtered out of the water, so that the treated water is ready for biological water treatment at Schiphol-East.
 

At this production site, the client produces various biscuit and chocolate products that are shipped all over the world. A large part of the installations needed to make this process run flawlessly is managed by Veolia. You will work independently on the installations in both the power plant and the factory. A responsible role within a dynamic production environment.
