The role

As of October 2025, Veolia Industriediensten (Veolia) will have new management and the strategic direction of Veolia has been recalibrated. This has also resulted in the establishment of critical performance indicators (KPIs) that can be used for management. The operational KPIs now need to be implemented. The choice has been made to start this at Cleantech Park in Arnhem (pilot). The assignment involves overseeing the development of an operational dashboard and writing an implementation plan for a daily start-up meeting for the various teams on site; Operators, technical services (maintenance & projects), and site management.

What you'll do

To this end, we see the following activities (draft) being carried out:

- Getting a feel for the work on site (shadowing, interviews, etc.)
- Assessing current KPIs (are we missing something) and potentially supplementing them;
- Determining which KPIs can already be measured and looking at what needs to happen to make other KPIs measurable (data available);
- Determining how data can be unlocked (what are the source files);
- Developing a dashboard (within Veolia we use Google Looker studio) for the purpose of starting a daily start-up meeting;
- Determining the theoretical framework for holding a daily start-up meeting;
- Plan of approach for the implementation of and holding a daily start-up meeting on site.

Important stakeholders in this project: Reliability engineer, Site manager, Team leader, Process engineer (internship supervisor), Manager Operations (project sponsor). The Veolia project structure will be used to follow the project, and a monthly steering group meeting will take place.

- You are proactive, eager to learn, and enjoy working independently;
- You possess good analytical skills.
