Production Planner - Velder in the Netherlands

• Based on commercial demand, a supply plan is drawn up by your colleagues.
• You translate this supply plan into a production plan at item level so that the most efficient line planning is realized.
• You are responsible for the inventory and the management of packaging units such as pallets and boxes that you need for production.
• You manage the transport shuttle between our locations.
• Optimize the production plan and translate it into a system.
• Through your strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, you can proactively find solutions and contribute to continuous improvements in coordination with your colleagues in the chain.

• You are proficient with Excel (advanced), planning and ERP systems (Infor M3 and Demand Planner are a plus), and the use of BI tools (Power BI is a plus).

Furthermore, you bring:

• You possess HBO/WO work/thinking level (supply chain/logistics/business related) with 1-5 years of relevant work experience; experience with cheese is a plus.
• You convince us with good communication skills (Dutch and English) and you are a strong personality with a positive attitude.

As a Production Planner, you are responsible for the planning of a part of our Dutch cheese product portfolio to realize the expected performance (service level, inventory levels, shrinkage) at optimal costs. You are part of the S&OP team and work closely with all disciplines in our company.

You will join the Planning & S&OP team, which consists of 18 colleagues with 2 focus areas: Dutch Cheese and International Cheese. The Planning & S&OP team is part of the Supply Chain organization and works together with almost all disciplines within Velder.
