The role

What will you be doing as a Quality Controller at VDL TIM Hapert?

We always strive to deliver the best quality. As a Quality Controller, you are indispensable to our company. You oversee the quality of the products and compliance with the agreed quality requirements for these products.

What you'll do

Performing quality controls (in-process and final inspections), including using (3-D) measuring machines
Visual inspection of products and packaging
Assessing products in accordance with measuring instructions, drawings, measuring programs, and customer requirements
Solving problems regarding deviations in products, working methods, or instructions in consultation with others
Performing, reporting, and releasing products
Initiating initiatives for continuous improvement

How you'll work

The position is performed in 2 shifts. The working hours are as follows:

Shift 1: Monday to Thursday 05:30-14:15 and Friday 05:30-12:45.

Shift 2: Monday to Thursday 14:15-23:00 and Friday 12:45-20:00.

Your profile

You possess technical knowledge at MBO level
You have knowledge of reading technical drawings
You are able to perform quality controls and solve problems in consultation with others
You can communicate excellently (at every level)
You are decisive, result-oriented, accurate, and analytical
Knowledge of quality standards is a plus
Knowledge of form and position tolerances is a plus
In addition to your technical knowledge, you are also quality-conscious, customer-oriented, and driven
