The role
The role:
Within the mechanical workshop, the EDM group is responsible for producing complex parts. We utilize EDM machines for precision work and a modern CAD/CAM programming system. Most often, these are series productions up to single units. With the team of technicians, we produce highly complex, challenging, and high-quality workpieces for various customers in the semiconductor industry, optical industry, equipment manufacturing, and the aerospace industry. As an EDM technician, you are co-responsible for the entire production process and contribute ideas regarding the machining strategy, tool selection, clamping method, and quality assessment.
