What we're looking for

You have a vmbo basis/kader diploma or an entrance course diploma
You find technology and construction interesting and enjoy working with your hands
You are a persevering person
You enjoy combining working and learning
You enjoy seeing results
You are curious and eager to learn new things
You enjoy working together with others in a team environment
You live in the Netherlands and possess a valid residence permit that allows you to work and study
You speak the Dutch language sufficiently, both orally and in writing. Lessons at school are given in Dutch and good communication is also important on the work floor
You register yourself at an mbo school. VDL does not arrange this, but we are happy to think along with you and can advise you on suitable training courses and schools

What you'll get

During your Apprenticeship training at VDL, you will be guided by an experienced practical supervisor. You will work four days a week at VDL and go to school one day a week. VDL pays for your training AND a full-time salary. Once you have your diploma in hand? Then a permanent contract is ready for you immediately, or you can choose to further develop yourself within one of our VDL companies.

The role

As a BBL Allround maintenance and renovation employee, you will work four days a week on our construction departments and go to school one day per week. In practice, you will learn step by step how our units are built: from dismantling and renovating existing units to constructing completely new layouts. During your training, you will develop into an employee who maintains an overview, works safely, and uses their professional knowledge to realize beautiful projects.

Do you like to challenge yourself? Then choose the VDL Triple T Academy: the talent program for technical Apprenticeship students of VDL Groep. During one school year, you will work half a day per week on your personal development during training sessions at cool locations, such as the Philips Stadion or FC Eindhoven.
