The role

Are you organizationally strong, communicatively skilled, and do you get energy from a role where no two days are the same? Do you enjoy being the first point of contact for an organization while simultaneously making an important contribution to securing new projects? Then we have a great challenge for you!

Gabriëls Elektro in Veghel has been a trusted name in electrical engineering since 1989. What once began as a two-man company has grown into a successful installer with about 50 dedicated colleagues.

We realize diverse installations in the fields of electrical engineering, KNX/domotics, lighting, and data. Additionally, we provide fire and burglary installations, CCTV, and telecom solutions.

Due to our growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Office Manager/Tender Manager. A versatile role in which you play an important role within our daily organization and are involved in the commercial development of Gabriëls Elektro.

What you'll do

As Office Manager / Tender Manager, you have a versatile role in which you switch between colleagues, customers, suppliers, and the commercial organization. You ensure that the office runs smoothly and are simultaneously involved in one of the most important parts of our commercial development: securing new projects.

As Office Manager, you are the first point of contact for customers and visitors and manage the general mailbox. Additionally, you support colleagues with various administrative and organizational tasks.

An important part of your role is guiding tenders and procurements for larger electrical engineering projects in residential and utility construction. You collect the necessary information, monitor deadlines, and ensure that tender documents are submitted completely and professionally.

In this, you work closely with the commercial department. Together, you assess new opportunities, analyze customer demand, and determine how Gabriëls Elektro can best respond to this.

In short: you are the linchpin of Gabriëls Elektro. You ensure the office runs well and also help to bring in new beautiful projects.

What do you bring?

You are representative, customer-oriented, and communicatively strong. You enjoy being the first point of contact for Gabriëls Elektro and know how to switch easily between customers, colleagues, and other relations.

Additionally, you are organizationally strong, work accurately, and know how to set priorities well. For the tender portion, it is important that you can write well, grasp information quickly, and monitor deadlines.

You do not need to be an electrical engineering expert, but an affinity with technology is important. You find it interesting to get to know our projects and services and to think along about commercial opportunities. Knowledge of Syntess and Microsoft Office is a plus.

This position can be filled between 24 and 40 hours per week. Working hours and days are in consultation, but due to the staffing of our Office Management team, Friday is a fixed working day.

Where you will be working:

Since 1989, Gabriels Elektro has been providing electrical installations for apartment construction and utility projects. With a familial and close-knit team of 50 colleagues, we work on challenging projects in the Eindhoven – Nijmegen – Den Bosch region.

As part of the fast-growing VDK Groep (150 companies, 7,000 employees), we offer a unique combination that you won't find anywhere else. We combine the advantages of a close-knit team with the expertise and growth opportunities of a large, national organization.
