As an Estimator/Project Planner for Electrical and Installation Engineering, you will be involved in diverse technical projects in residential construction, utilities, and industry from the very first customer contact. You translate customer inquiries into clear quotes, create accurate cost calculations, and ensure that projects start well-prepared.

From the initial inquiry to the actual execution: you maintain the overview and ensure everything is correct. In doing so, you will receive a lot of freedom, responsibility, and space to apply your technical knowledge.

As an Estimator/Project Planner, you are the connecting link between the customer, the calculation, and the execution. You ensure that technical inquiries are translated into realistic budgets and that projects can start efficiently and well-organized.

You combine technical insight with organizational talent. Thanks to your preparation, colleagues know exactly what needs to be done and projects can be executed smoothly.

• Inventorying customer inquiries and technical assignments within electrical and installation engineering;

• Preparing accurate calculations and cost estimates for various installation projects;

• Developing quotes and discussing them with clients where necessary;

• Providing complete project planning as soon as an assignment has been issued;

• Establishing and monitoring project schedules;

• Ordering materials and ensuring that the necessary resources are available in a timely manner;

• Maintaining contact with customers, suppliers, and colleagues throughout the project;

• Identifying technical and organizational bottlenecks and thinking along about suitable solutions;

• Monitoring progress and reporting independently on your activities.

You are a technically minded professional who works accurately, maintains an overview, and likes to take responsibility. You enjoy thinking along with customers and switch easily between different tasks.

In addition, you possess:

• A completed MBO education in the direction of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar;

• Several years of relevant work experience within electrical engineering or mechanical installation technology;

• Technical insight and affinity with estimation and work preparation;

• Experience with customer contact and good communication skills;

• A VCA Basic Safety diploma;

• An independent, structured, and flexible working attitude;

• The willingness to follow training and courses;

• Driver's license B.

Ideally, you live in Delfzijl, Oost-Groningen, or the surrounding region, or you are willing to relocate here.
