What we're looking for

Who are you?
You see it as a challenge to immerse yourself in projects in the field of District Heating. Through your technical knowledge, ability to maintain an overview, and your good communication skills, you also know how to bring them to a successful conclusion. Collaborating with diverse parties suits you well, you are critical when you believe it is necessary, and you have no trouble holding others accountable for their professional responsibility.

Furthermore, you have:

A completed technical education at least at MBO 4 level, preferably in mechanical engineering.
Knowledge of or affinity with infra- and installation technology.
Drawing experience with AutoCad and proficiency in reading specifications.

Languages

In addition, you have a good to very good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

What you'll do

Will you help us on our mission towards a fossil-free future? Do you want to make a difference and work on the energy transition as a District Heating Work Preparer?

Our heat networks increasingly provide homes, businesses, and offices with hot (or cold) water. Comfortably and reliably. As a district heating work preparer in the Amsterdam/Almere region, besides working towards a fossil-free future, you will also work on puzzles where you can use all your technical insight and communication skills!

What are you going to do?
With district heating, many homes can be provided with heat and hot water in a sustainable way all at once. Installing these networks is a complex task, especially now that we are connecting more and more existing buildings. We would love to give that puzzle to you. As a work preparer, you ensure that a plan for the installation of a heat network becomes a reality.

You create feasible designs for heat routes, ranging from large transport networks to district networks and connections that bring the heat to the customers
You approach challenges such as narrow streets or a busy underground creatively
You perform calculations and reserve materials
You arrange permits if they are required
You consult with colleagues, builders, municipalities, architects, and contractors
