Internship Construction Methodologies Work Preparation

• You manage the Dutch language both in speech and writing at a good level;

• You are following an mbo or hbo education in the direction of Civil Engineering, Built Environment, or Construction Middle Management and are available (almost) full-time for a period of 5 months;

• You take initiative, are curious, and dare to ask questions;

• You possess basic knowledge of the BIM program Revit or Autocad;

• An internship allowance of € 509,- (mbo) to €600,- (hbo) per 4 weeks (converted to € 550,- to €650,- per month);

• An educational internship at a large construction company;

As an intern in Construction Methodologies Work Preparation at Ballast Nedam Materieel, you will play an important role in the preparation of challenging construction and infra projects. You will contribute to the design, elaboration, and preparation of construction methods and the necessary temporary structures that are essential for the safe and efficient execution of projects.

During this internship, you form the link between engineering, work preparation, and execution. Depending on your interests and learning goals, we will tailor the internship content to your development as much as possible. This gives you the chance to gain experience in elaborating construction methods, creating technical drawings and take-off sheets, and supporting project coordinators, engineers, and work preparers with various activities. This internship offers a lot of variety and the opportunity to get to know different disciplines within the construction and infra world. You will work closely with experienced colleagues who will involve you in their daily practice and actively engage you in substantive issues.

• Supporting work preparation activities for construction and infra projects
