De WarmteCarrousel is a training and collaboration platform that prepares new talent for a career in the heat sector. In collaboration with leading organizations within the sector, trainees get the opportunity to gain practical experience, build their network, and develop both professionally and personally. By gaining experience at various partner organizations throughout the two-year program, participants gain a unique insight into the entire heat chain and contribute to the energy transition. WarmteCarrousel Traineeship

In a traineeship where you not only gain experience through an active contribution to diverse projects, but also have a view of the permanent job of your choice? Then we have the perfect starter job for you!

We offer you a unique opportunity to get to know the heat market from three perspectives; those of contractor A.Hak Warmte, engineering firm Amsterdam Engineering, and energy supplier Vattenfall. In this traineeship, you combine working and learning while, among other things, getting to know the investment policy, design strategies, and installation techniques of heat pipes and installations. 

What WarmteCarrousel offers
Over a period of two years, you will spend 8 months at each organization, rotating with other trainees in your group. During this time, you will work an average of 32 hours per week and spend the remaining 8 hours on personal development, technical development, or site visits. Once you have fully completed the traineeship, the choice is yours; choose your next job within one of the parties where you have had a look behind the scenes. In doing so, you will get to know the entire market through roles such as work preparer, draftsman/structural designer, estimator, and engineer.

What do you bring?
You are a real go-getter who is not afraid to take initiative. You dare to approach people and get things done with your drive. Furthermore, you are curious and always know how to ask the right question due to your assertiveness. Finally, you are not easily unsettled and can deal flexibly with changes. We are looking for trainees who embrace the future, want to grow professionally, and want to build the energy infrastructure and sustainable solutions of tomorrow with us.  

Furthermore, you meet the following requirements:

• Minimum HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level;
• A completed technical education, for example in Civil Engineering, Built Environment, Mechanical Engineering, or Technical Business Administration; 
• Strong affinity with technology;
• Good command of the Dutch language in speech and writing; 
• At least a driving license B
