The role
A well-running workshop starts with the right facilities! Think of well-functioning lifts, professional workshop equipment, and a workshop where everything runs smoothly. With our many locations in the Netherlands, it is important that our workshops are well-equipped and can function optimally. And that is where you come in!
For our Facility Services department, we are looking for a Workshop Management Coordinator. In this role, you will ensure that our workshops remain in top technical and facility condition. You know what is happening within an automotive workshop, understand what mechanics and workshop managers need, and know how to translate this into concrete solutions. You will work for multiple locations and have a lot of contact with colleagues on-site and external suppliers.
A versatile position in which you will receive a lot of responsibility and truly make an impact on our workshops!
What you'll do
As Workshop Management Coordinator, you will ensure that our workshops have the right facilities and equipment. You maintain an overview, coordinate activities, and ensure that agreements are met. You are the connecting link between our locations, the workshop organization, and external suppliers.
Your duties include
Managing and optimizing the layout and facilities of our workshops;
Coordinating maintenance, repairs, inspections, and replacement of workshop equipment;
Assessing the condition and functionality of workshops and identifying areas for improvement;
Maintaining contact with workshop managers, location directors, and other colleagues at our locations;
Directing and coordinating external suppliers and maintenance parties;
Monitoring agreements regarding quality, service, planning, and costs;
Advising on the purchase, replacement, and investment in workshop equipment;
Identifying recurring problems and ensuring structural solutions;
Supporting projects regarding renovations and the improvement of our workshops.
Who are you?
Knowledge of and experience within the automotive sector is important for this position. You know better than anyone how a workshop functions and what is needed to make everything run smoothly.
Perhaps you are currently working as a workshop manager, workshop manager, technical supervisor, or After Sales professional and are ready for the next step in your career.
You know why a well-functioning lift is essential, what requirements are placed on workshop equipment, and what the consequences are when equipment is unavailable. You speak the language of the workshop and are simultaneously able to make clear agreements with suppliers.
Additionally, do you have experience with multiple locations or a regional or national responsibility? Then that is a great advantage!
Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:
You have demonstrable experience with or an affinity for workshop facilities;
You have knowledge of workshop equipment, maintenance, technical facilities, or workshop layout;
You have experience working with external suppliers and maintenance parties;
You are organizationally strong and know how to oversee multiple issues and locations simultaneously;
You are independent, practically minded, and love getting things done;
You enjoy visiting our locations regularly.
What do we offer you?
In over 75 years, Van Mossel has grown into the largest and most enjoyable automotive company in the Benelux—and we continue to grow! Despite our size, we remain a true family business, with a close-knit and informal atmosphere at every location.

Benefit from staff discounts on cars, maintenance services, and insurance for you and your family;
Access to training, courses, and workshops via the Van Mossel Academy;
Plenty of room for personal growth and advancement opportunities within a professional and ambitious team.
