Claims Accounts Receivable Specialist

From our head office in Tilburg, we manage the administration for various lease labels, both business and private. In this role, you are responsible for handling subrogation files and recovering paid claims from liable third parties. We are looking for a colleague to expand our team for our portfolio. What will you do?
As a Claims Accounts Receivable Specialist, you play a key role in managing our outstanding receivables in the area of Subrogation Files and ensure that payments are received on time. You work closely with your direct colleagues from the Claims Management department, and additionally have an important task in maintaining relationships both internally and externally.
As a Claims Accounts Receivable Specialist, you ensure timely follow-up of outstanding claims and proactively signal when action is needed. Additionally, you consult regularly with our colleagues from the finance department, so that disputes and questions regarding outstanding claims can be answered quickly and efficiently. Your main tasks:

• Managing claim processing and proactively following up on outstanding Subrogation;

• Maintaining telephone and written contact with insured parties, opposing parties, advocates, experts, and insurers;

• Administratively processing progress in our ERP system (Carwise);

• Reporting to your Team Leader and Manager Operations;

• Recovering damage amounts from liable third parties, insurers, and other involved parties;

• Actively collaborating with your colleagues to optimize processes and achieve successes together.

• Minimum MBO working and thinking level, preferably in a financial direction;

• Experience in accounts receivable or subrogation handling is a plus, but not a requirement – we are happy to teach you the ropes of the trade;

• Communication skills, both verbal and written – you can listen well and communicate clearly;

• Accuracy and independence, but also the ability to take responsibility for files and work well within a team;

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
