The energy transition requires increasingly larger and more complex projects. To execute these projects predictably, under control, and successfully, risk management plays a crucial role. Therefore, we are looking for a Risk Manager who will support projects within the Central and West-North regions in identifying, analyzing, and managing risks. This vacancy is based on the Job Grid profile Audit, Risk & Compliance Specialist (scale 9).

Within the Central and West-North regions, you will work in an environment with a large number of projects, diverse project teams, and various ways of working that have emerged from the past. At the same time, there is a growing need for a more uniform and professional approach to risk management.

As a Risk Manager, you will support multiple projects simultaneously in identifying, analyzing, and managing risks. You will ensure that risk management is not just a process on paper, but becomes an integral part of decision-making and project control. In doing so, you will make a direct contribution to the successful execution of the energy transition.

You are responsible for, among other things:

• Facilitating risk identifications and risk sessions within diverse projects.
• Supporting project teams with risk analyses and determining effective mitigation measures.
• Advising project management teams on risks, opportunities, and possible interventions.
• Monitoring risk developments, trends, and dependencies across multiple projects.
• Improving and professionalizing risk management processes within the project organization.
• Promoting a uniform and risk-driven way of working within different project teams.

The Central and West-North regions face an enormous growth challenge within the energy transition. The number of projects is increasing sharply, and the projects vary in size, complexity, and phase.

To execute projects predictably and under control, further professionalization of risk management is necessary. Therefore, we are looking for a Risk Manager who brings structure, supports project teams, and makes risks a natural part of project control and decision-making. With your expertise, you will help realize projects successfully and contribute directly to the energy future of the Netherlands.

• A permanent contract with a two-month probationary period.
