(Procurement) Specialist Congestion Management

• A completed HBO or WO degree in a STEM field (for example, electrical engineering, energy technology, mathematics, (technical) physics, technical business administration);
• You are analytically strong, and can effectively communicate your analysis of problems to others;
• You are proactive, creative, and result-oriented;
• You work independently but also enjoy working in a team;
• The English language is no problem for you;
• Knowledge and experience in the energy sector, in the field of grid management and/or (procurement of) energy, is a plus;
• Experience with bidding for, or issuing, (European) tenders is a plus;

• A permanent contract with a two-month probationary period, based on [aantal] hours per week.
• A salary in scale 9: €4816 to €9472 per month with 8% holiday allowance and a 6% year-end bonus.

Due to the growth of renewable energy and increasing pressure on the grid, congestion management is becoming increasingly important. In this role, you will ensure that sufficient flexibility is available in your region, so that the Netherlands can continue to rely on a reliable and sustainable energy system.

As a Procurement Specialist Congestion Management, you are responsible for contracting flexibility within your congestion area(s), with a focus on Brabant and Limburg.

• You maintain contacts with connected companies within your congestion area(s).
• You contract available flexibility for the purpose of congestion management.
• You carry out regional and national tender procedures for the procurement of flexibility services.
• You collaborate with colleagues on the development of congestion management products.
• You represent TenneT to regional and national stakeholders.
