Functional Administrator Business Central

• You have a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking.
• You have several years of relevant experience as a functional administrator, application administrator, or ERP consultant.
• You have demonstrable practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar complex ERP environment.
• You are strong in problem analysis and know how to reduce complex issues to clear solutions.  
• You can set priorities and guide changes from analysis to implementation, both independently and in a team setting.
• You communicate easily with users, process owners, IT specialists, and suppliers.
• You work proactively, with a focus on quality and the customer.

• A position for at least 36 hours per week.
• A salary of € 4,400 to € 7,000 gross per month, depending on your knowledge, experience, and the level at which you enter.

An ERP system touches almost everything within an organization. From financial administration and project control to purchasing, logistics, and reporting. As a Functional Administrator Business Central, you ensure that Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central aligns optimally with the processes of Strukton Nederland.

You are joining at an interesting moment. In the coming years, the focus lies on further professionalizing, optimizing, and developing the ERP environment. This means that you are not only responsible for daily administration, but above all, you get the opportunity to realize improvements that have a direct impact on the organization.

As a functional administrator, you are the connecting link between users, process owners, Finance, IT specialists, and external suppliers. You delve into user questions, investigate the underlying need, and look beyond the application alone. You understand how processes, integrations, authorization flows, reports, and data flows are interconnected and know how to translate this knowledge into smart and future-proof solutions.

You will be given plenty of room to take independent responsibility for your application domain. At the same time, you will work closely with colleagues from the business and IT to ensure that our applications continue to support the organization reliably, safely, and efficiently.

• You analyze and improve processes in the areas of finance, projects, maintenance, purchasing, and logistics.
• You investigate the impact of changes on processes, reports, authorizations, integrations, and surrounding applications. You manage and monitor connections and data flows between Business Central and other systems.
• You support users with complex issues and incidents.
• You investigate disruptions to the source and realize structural solutions instead of temporary workarounds.
• You draft and keep up-to-date administration documentation, test results, work instructions, and knowledge articles.
• You participate in projects, implementations, and improvement initiatives surrounding the ERP environment.

You get energy from complex ERP issues. You want to understand why processes are set up the way they are, where bottlenecks arise, and how these can be improved structurally.

You are analytical, meticulous, and a strong communicator. This allows you to easily switch between different conversation partners. Whether you are speaking with a financial specialist, project manager, key user, IT colleague, or external consultant: you know how to ask the right questions and bring people along in changes.

Experience with 4PS Construct is a significant advantage. Knowledge of AFAS or other business-critical applications is a nice addition, but not a requirement.
