Your first contract is a temporary contract. If we are happy with each other, your next contract will be for an indefinite period.
In addition to the statutory 8.33% holiday allowance, you receive an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%, and at Kwintes, we offer a balance budget of €1,000 gross per year pro rata to your employment. Our lease scheme for the most beautiful and best (electric) bicycles is also worth mentioning!

As a social worker, you are an essential link within the Sociaal Team Gouda. You support residents with diverse requests for help, ranging from financial problems and parenting issues to housing and well-being. You help them regain control over their lives and offer short-term assistance or refer them to appropriate services. Whether it is a young person struggling at school, parents experiencing parenting as difficult, or a family in need of financial breathing room, you are ready to help!
You start the day with a meeting in which incoming referrals are discussed. You choose the cases in which you can make the greatest difference. After that, you have a home visit with a mother whom you have paired with an administrative buddy. You check how things are going and see if extra support is needed regarding the upbringing of her children.
On the way to the office, a coordinator from mbo Rijnland calls: a student is at home dealing with intense arguments within the family. You make a note of it and bring it up in the team meeting tomorrow. Once at the office, you open the walk-in clinic, where residents drop by with questions about energy costs, housing, parenting, and relationships. You offer a listening ear and ensure solutions are found. At the end of the day, you update support plans so that you can start again tomorrow well-prepared. No two days are the same, and that is what makes your work so valuable.
