Affinity with energy technology and a sharp eye for safety are second nature to you. You feel comfortable with the responsibility that comes with going out independently in a company van and always keep the customer experience in mind. Communicating comes easily to you and you like to think along about how service can be even better.
Furthermore, you have:

A completed MBO level 2 education.
A driving license B.
And good communication skills: You can speak Dutch well and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and customers, and you have a strong sense of safety when working with gas and electricity.

A salary of € 3005.87 gross per month if you work 40 hours.
A personal budget of 24% on top of your salary (incl. 8% holiday allowance). That means a maximum of € 724.41 extra salary or up to 35.5 extra vacation days. You can see how it works in our calculation tool.
€ 80 net field allowance per month. This is how we ensure you also have a nice cup of coffee during your work!

You will receive a company van from us. This way, you are behind the wheel of your own work! And you can immediately store your newest tools and materials.
€ 700 (gross) annually to spend on your own energy, for example for your sports subscription or your new sportswear.

The role

What you'll do

As a smart meter technician at Stedin in Utrecht, you ensure a reliable and safe energy supply. You replace gas and electricity meters at customers' homes and ensure a positive customer experience with a clear explanation.

A day as a smart meter technician:

With your own company van and good tools, you depart for your first appointment of the day.
At the customer's home, you replace the existing gas and electricity meters, check if everything works safely and correctly, and signal any deviations.
You explain calmly and clearly how the new smart meter works and answer questions, so that the customer is left with a good feeling.
In between, you accurately report your findings in the systems and coordinate any specifics with colleagues.
At the end of the day, you drive back, handle your administration, and prepare for the next working day.
