The role

Your energy in the plus

As a company instructor, you will work at the Stedin Academy, our corporate school that trains all our technical personnel. Here, you are responsible for the retraining and upskilling of our colleagues, thereby contributing directly to the energy transition.

Why working at Stedin gives you energy:

  • A job with a lot of variety in which you are continuously challenged and can help others develop.

  • Working in a modern building that we will move into at the beginning of 2027, where all theory and practical classrooms meet the highest standards.

  • An attractive salary and, on top of that, a personal budget of 24% and a Sustainable Employability budget of 700 euros per year.

Work to be proud of

In the switching center at the Stedin Academy, you work in the very heart of the energy transition and apply your knowledge and expertise in the field of low and medium voltage. You train fellow technicians, contribute to safe and competent working, and ensure that courses and training always align with the latest developments. You combine practical lessons with theoretical depth and play an important role in strengthening the craftsmanship culture within Stedin.

A day as a company instructor at the Switching Center at the Stedin Academy:

  • You start the day by preparing and giving practical instructions in low voltage and medium voltage: safe operation, securing, locating faults, and the use of measuring equipment.

  • You supervise groups of trainees during technical training sessions and also provide exam training so that they enter the exam prepared and confident.

  • You register and administer the progress and results of trainees and ensure that all data is accurately recorded.

  • You provide safety instructions and keep knowledge up to date by constantly aligning training with new standards, systems, and technical developments.

  • You collaborate with fellow instructors and participate in working groups to continuously improve training, materials, and teaching approaches.

Here is how you recharge

All financial employment conditions at a glance, so you know exactly what to expect:

  • A gross monthly salary between € 4,045.- and € 6,331,- (based on 40 hours), 24.5 vacation days, and pension accrual with ABP, where we pay 70% of the premium.

  • On top of your salary, you receive a personal budget of 24% (including 8% holiday allowance). You choose what to do with the budget: for example, extra salary or (up to max. 35.5) extra vacation days. You can see how it works in our calculation tool.

  • An annual € 700,- (gross) Sustainable Employability budget to spend on your own energy, for example, for your gym membership or sportswear.

On top of that, there is this:

  • You travel to the office using the public transport free-access scheme. This is a public transport card that you can also use in your free time. Or with the flexible travel scheme, where you choose, combine, and vary how you travel to work and receive an extra allowance if you come by bicycle.

  • Your development is central: attending events with colleagues and following training and education. This is how you get the best out of yourself.

With these qualities, you will grow here

You are familiar with the applicable instructions and can explain and clarify them clearly. You know how to bridge theory and practice and closely follow developments in the field. You have reached a point in your career where you would like to pass on your knowledge and experience to others. In doing so, you also work on your own development. You are not afraid to address people about their behavior and way of working. You naturally work according to established procedures. You are a driven professional with a results-oriented attitude. With us, this is not only valued but also rewarded.

Furthermore, you have:

  • You possess MBO 4 working and thinking level and hold a diploma at this educational level.

  • You hold at least an AVP LS and MS designation and have at least 4 years of knowledge and experience working on our electricity grids.

  • You are willing to obtain the WV LS/MS designation.

  • You have experience in new installation and faults in installations.

Take the step to your next challenge

We look forward to meeting you.

This is also good to know:

  • To get a good impression of your motivation and suitability for this position, we ask you to add a CV to your application. We would like to receive this in PDF format.

  • This position is for a minimum of 24 and a maximum of 40 hours per week. We would like to coordinate the number of hours with you.
