Scrum Master (Agile Consultant)

As a Scrum Master, you coach one or more teams toward high performance with a focus on value creation, ownership, and learning capability. You have strong communication skills and interact just as smoothly with developers and Product Owners as with managers and directors. You have an eye for detail, a talent for spotting and solving problems, and you know how to create movement. You know and 'live' the scrum/agile principles and, where necessary, you step into a role as an Agile Consultant, Release Train Engineer, or coach to advance your team(s) and the organization.

Additionally, you possess: 

• At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Team Coach (or similar role) in complex environments; 
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills; you can handle dynamics, conflicts, and resistance.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Agile & Scrum working and corresponding certifications (PSM I and II, SAFe or similar);
• Experience with digital workspace tooling such as Jira and Confluence;
• Expertise within one or more of the following domains: Public sector, Finance and/or Utilities (energy sector);
• A completed HBO/WO degree (higher professional or university education) in the direction of Business or IT;
• Professional command of the Dutch and English languages;
• Consultancy experience is a strong plus;

You are part of the Product & Agile practice within the Area Business Transformation, which falls under Sopra Steria Next (the Consulting Business Line of Sopra Steria). The Business Transformation area consists of five teams: Product & Agile, Transformation Management, Business & Process Analysis, Digital Experience Design, and Digital Workplace & Collaboration. Together, we act as a partner in the digital transformations of our customers. 

The Product & Agile team consists of product portfolio managers, product managers, (lead) product owners, scrum masters, and agile coaches with a passion for the profession, each with their own area of expertise. In addition to individual client assignments, we work together on developing new propositions and solving challenging client cases. A dynamic team in which the sharing of knowledge and insights is central.

Within the Product & Agile practice, we help companies and software teams to become more product- and value-driven, and we help optimize collaboration. We support the creation of a (product) vision, strategy, product roadmaps, and their execution. You work together with the client and with your own multidisciplinary team.

• A permanent contract and a salary indication between €3,600 and €6,300 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week). The exact scaling depends on your experience;
