Technical Developer

Do you enjoy solving technical problems independently, do you have experience using analytical equipment, and do you like supporting and training colleagues? For our Chemistry and Petroleum Laboratory in Spijkenisse, we are looking for a technical developer.

As a technical developer, you ensure that our laboratories in Spijkenisse continue to operate optimally. You are responsible for the proper functioning of the analytical equipment and are therefore an indispensable link in the work of our analysts. Thanks to your commitment, they can perform their analyses accurately, safely, and on time.

You will be involved in the maintenance, calibration and optimization of analytical instruments, the analysis and resolution of technical malfunctions and the training of colleagues in the use of the equipment. Additionally, you will contribute ideas for improvements to existing analytical methods and applications, so that the laboratory continues to work efficiently and with a future focus.

You work closely with the analysts and other colleagues within the laboratory and contribute directly to the quality and continuity of our analyses. You also participate in routine tasks to keep your knowledge up to date and maintain a feel for daily practice.

We would like to see the following experience on your CV:

• Preferably a completed HBO degree (minimum MLO-4) and approximately 5 years of experience in a laboratory environment
• Supplemented with approximately 3 years of experience with instrumental analytical techniques

Furthermore, you have a good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages.
