What we're looking for

MBO-3 or 4 diploma, preferably in the field of agriculture, logistics, or maritime
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably as an Inspector
Flexible in working hours and days (shift work and occasionally presence on weekends or in the evening may be expected)
Able to work both independently and in a group and attach the necessary importance to safety and accuracy.
No suffering from fear of heights or color blindness.
Good communication skills in Dutch and English.

The role

What you'll do

Performing sampling and inspections on various agricultural products and foodstuffs (e.g., grains, vegetable oils, or cocoa) in the ports of Rotterdam and Amsterdam
You will go on-site to various SGS customers. The locations are usually in the vicinity of the ports of Rotterdam and Amsterdam
Contributing to the quality assurance of goods by performing quality controls. In this regard, you will also handle the necessary reporting.
