From our office near Rotterdam Central, we design the most beautiful projects in the Netherlands. Did you know that our experts at play have since designed more than 3 kilometers of deep-sea quay in the port of Rotterdam? And that we are active until 2030 in 3 large framework agreements for the recalculation of bridges and viaducts? Our portfolio also includes projects such as Afsluitdijk, Zuidasdok, Beatrixsluis and the new Terneuzen lock. Thanks to our focus on technology, we can make a great impact with a compact team.

SBE is one of the largest consultancy and engineering firms in Belgium. Since 2020, we have been building a dynamic and entrepreneurial team in Rotterdam, which currently consists of approximately 20 Dutch professionals. We want to further develop and let this team grow in a sustainable way in the coming years.

At the moment we are looking in Rotterdam for new colleagues to continue our Dutch success story. You can focus here on 4 domains: concrete, geotechnics, steel and mechanical engineering. Moreover, you shape your own career by modelling your development path in consultation with your Teamcoach towards your own interests and skills.

As a future Modeler, you will get the chance to

• Be part of a project team, where you are responsible for preparing the structural 3D model of various concrete and geotechnical structures, such as bridges, tunnels, quay walls, and locks.

• Create drawings, based on the 3D model, during all phases. This from VO to UO.

• Contribute to the BIM processes, such as the further development of templates and families, parametric modeling, and the automation of standard processes.

• Use 3D models more efficiently for quantities, schedules, and even for calculating structures.

• Work from an integrated environment, namely ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud).

• At least a completed HBO degree (Higher Professional Education) in Civil Engineering or Building Technology (structural specialization)

• Interest in civil and hydraulic engineering structures

• Interest in BIM Software such as: Autocad, Revit, and Civil 3D

• Interest in parametric software such as Dynamo, Rhino, and Grasshopper is a plus

• You speak fluent Dutch and you can express yourself professionally in English

• You are solution-oriented, creative, stress-resistant, and assertive

• You are passionate about technology

• You enjoy learning a lot
