· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sales, Business Development, Business Management, Engineering, or similar

· Demonstrable sales experience within contract logistics

· Preferably experience within Healthcare, Machinery & Industry, or Consumer Goods

· Knowledge of supply chain management and logistical concept development

· Strong in relationship building and switches effectively at tactical and strategic levels

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Result-oriented, professional, and proactive

· Good command of the English language

The role

What You Can Expect:

Business Development Executive (Hunter) Rhenus Warehousing Solutions

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive with an entrepreneurial mindset and a clear hunter mentality. In this role, you move effortlessly at various levels with (potential) customers and internally - and you develop sustainable, strategic customer relationships.

You explore new markets and commercial opportunities and are able to independently generate and develop leads from suspect to lead and ultimately to strategic customer. You take control of the entire sales process: from initial contact and concept development to negotiation, contracting, and successful implementation of new customers.

The Business Development department focuses on attracting new customers within the Healthcare, Machinery & Industry, and Consumer Goods sectors. This involves strategic sales processes with a longer lead time.

In close cooperation with colleagues from Business Development and the Solution Design team, you develop customer-specific logistical solutions that align with - and where possible anticipate - the needs of the customer. In this position, you report to the Business Development Director.
