Quality Specialist Operations

At Rhenus, we are looking for a Quality Specialist Operations who is visibly present on the shop floor and ensures that quality is part of every step in the process. You coach colleagues, identify risks, translate ISO guidelines into practice, and make a daily impact within our Medical Devices operation in Tilburg or Son en Breugel.

At Rhenus, you don't work from the sidelines. As a Quality Specialist Operations, you are right in the middle of our operational environment and ensure that quality is not just correct on paper, but is actually adhered to on the shop floor.

You are visibly present within our medical logistics operation, identify risks before they become problems, and help colleagues to work according to the highest quality standards every day. Thanks to your sharp eye, coaching approach, and quality awareness, we deliver the reliability our customers expect.

Location: Tilburg or Son en Breugel
Department: Quality, Compliance & Sustainability
Reports to: Quality Manager

No two days are the same. You are present on the shop floor frequently and work closely with Operations, Team Leaders, and Quality colleagues.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Performing quality controls within our medical logistics processes.
• Monitoring procedures, work instructions, and customer agreements.
• Translating ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 guidelines into daily practice.
• Identifying, registering, and escalating quality deviations and risks.
• Coaching employees and supervisors on quality-conscious working.
• Supporting root cause analyses and improvement actions.
• Stimulating continuous improvement and a strong quality culture.

You are someone who enjoys being among people, recognizes quality problems quickly, and knows how to engage colleagues in a positive way.

In addition, you bring:

• MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking.
• Experience within a logistics, warehouse, production, or other regulated environment.
• Affinity with quality systems and process improvement.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 is a plus.
• A coaching and proactive work attitude.
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• The conviction to prioritize quality, even when operational pressure is high.
