Maintenance and Service Technician (Heavy Armored Wheeled Vehicles)

For the inspection, maintenance, and repair of advanced, heavy armored wheeled vehicles, Rheinmetall Defence Nederland BV is looking for an experienced maintenance and service technician.

Almost all of your activities take place at our location in Ede. You ensure that these complex vehicles remain in top condition and are optimally deployable.

• Performing periodic checks, preventive maintenance, and thorough inspections on heavy armored wheeled vehicles
• Independently detecting, analyzing, and resolving complex technical faults in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Performing necessary adjustments, replacements, and servicing of large components and vehicle systems
• Carefully, accurately, and completely recording all performed activities, inspections, fault analyses, and maintenance history in our systems
• Ensuring strict defense and quality standards and working safely within a professional environment

• A completed MBO education (minimum level 3) in the direction of Vehicle Technology, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering
• Necessary and demonstrable work experience within vehicle technology. Experience with heavy equipment and/or agricultural mechanization is a strong plus
• Excellent technical insight, experience with reading technical drawings and diagrams, and a good physical condition for working on heavy machinery
• Accurate, administratively skilled (for correct registration), proactive, quality-oriented, and safety-conscious
• Good command of the Dutch language; knowledge of English and/or German is a strong plus
• You can successfully undergo a VGB screening (Certificate of Good Conduct / VOG)

• Salary: A market-conform gross monthly salary between € 3,300.- and € 4,400.-, depending on your knowledge and work experience
