The role
Job Title
Bereaved Desk Employee
Bereaved Desk Employee
Would you like to help bereaved individuals with careful administrative settlement?
You & your role
As a Bereaved Desk Employee, you know the secrets of careful administration and human customer contact. You handle administrative tasks after an advisor has reported a death. In doing so, you make telephone contact with the bereaved to coordinate matters. You also support the advisors of the Bereaved Desk Front Office, so that files can be completed carefully.
Pleasant collaboration
- Within the Operations Customer Journeys Bereaved Desk Backoffice team.
- Together with approximately 120 direct colleagues.
- The team works physically in Breda 12 times per year (this may increase in the future)
- 32 to 36 hours per week.
An average working day
Are you curious about what is on your to-do list on an average workday? You process notifications of death, perform the corresponding administrative activities, and maintain an overview until the file is completed. In between, you call the bereaved to coordinate information and next steps.
Pleasure & work
Asli: "I enjoy working at the Bereaved Desk, where every day is a new challenge! Every file is different; that makes the work fun and varied. I received a very warm welcome from all colleagues and have been received incredibly well at Rabobank."
Together we achieve more than just
We believe in the power of differences. It is precisely by combining the differences of people that we become an even better bank. We are therefore curious about what you can add to our Customer Journeys Bereaved Desk Backoffice team.
Your future colleagues would love to welcome you. They can make good use of your help in supporting the advisors of the Bereaved Desk Front Office. Collaboration is our way of working here. You will join a warm and helpful team in which colleagues support each other. You don't have to figure out the work alone and can learn together from the various files and exceptions.
Work on yourself & the world around you at the same time
For us, your development and that of society stand side by side. That is why we want to invest in you and work together on a better world. We summarize that in one sentence: "at Rabobank, you work on yourself & the world around you at the same time."
You see this reflected in your own development budget, our hybrid working environment, and a good balance between your work and your home. In addition, you can work on banking matters for our private and business clients, but also on societal issues such as the food and energy transitions.
Why everyone is welcome at Rabobank
At Rabobank, we work on a culture in which everyone can feel welcome. We value differences and use them to work together better and make better decisions. We do this step by step, paying attention to what is going well and what we can still improve. By being open to different perspectives, we build an environment in which colleagues feel heard. This helps us to be an organization where people love to work and where we understand and serve our customers well.
You & your talent
- A completed MBO level 4 education.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience with administrative operational activities.
- Experience with the Lean methodology, for example with a Yellow Belt or Green Belt.
- Experience with the bereavement process, including reading a Certificate of Inheritance.
- You derive energy from telephone customer contact.
- You see what can be improved and actively think along about improvements.
- You work result-oriented, like to achieve goals, and have a flexible mindset.
